PASSING 500 SUPPORTERS - HALFWAY TO THE 1K MILESTONE !

Hello again everyone!

Thank you all for your support, we have slowly passed the midpoint of the 1K milestone.

If you like this model and like the instructions I've made for it, check out my other submissions, some of them have instructions available for free as well. I have recently added instructions to my Mini RC American Style Semi Truck as promised as well as a Mini Mobile Crane that couldn't end up on Ideas platform, but you should definitely check it out :)

Thanks once again and I keep my fingers crossed for passing the next milestone soon :)

Farm tractor featured again in BrickHouse video

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your support on the road to second 1000 supporters milestone. We're slowly closing in on 500 supporters.

Meanwhile Brickhouse have featured the tractor in a 1K special video released yesterday.

This time around there are better subtitles corrected by the author, although the feature is short.

Thanks once again and I keep my fingers crossed for passing the next milestone soon :)

Passing 400 supporters - getting close to a halfway point of the second milestone

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your support on the road to second 1000 supporters milestone. We've passed 400 today.

If you have any questions about the build or comments on the instructions, make sure to comment here or on Rebrickable.

If you like this model and like the instructions I've made for it, check out my other submissions, some of them (Cyber Cruiser, Formula Race Car, Front Engine Roadster, Mini RC American Style Semi Truck) have instructions available for free as well.

Also if you like such small scale technic builds and would watch just how I prototype some of the mechanisms for those builds, check out my youtube channel where I often showcase some small interesting mechanisms that you can build on your own. Here's one of weird protototypes I've made while iterating on this tractor:

Thanks once again and I keep my fingers crossed for passing the next milestone soon :)

Video review by BRICKHOUSE

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your support - we are getting close to 300 pretty fast.

The model was reviewed by German youtube channel BrickHouse:

Make sure to turn on the auto generated subtitles for the video though if you don't understand German, those subtitles are pretty understandable although not perfect.

Worth noting is that for the turn radius mentioned in the video, I think that the reviewer didn't use the actual boat counterweight and thus the front wheels may be slipping like stated in instructions and their description page, but all-in-all the steering type used here is limiting the turn radius greatly and only significantly bigger tractor models will be able to have proper pivot for front wheels and thus possibility to make a better turn angle without increasing the size of wheel arches out of proportions.

By the way it seems as Ideas platform team fixed the issue with video embedding, so great news for all of us who experienced the issue.

By the way 2: Meanwhile I've made instructions for my Mini RC American Style Semi Truck, so check them out if you liked this build. Note that the instructions are just for the semi tractor, but it is possible to have motorisation with two motors in the trailer connected through a big turntable acting as a fifth wheel, so the fifth wheel isn't included in the tractor build as this is supposed to be a part of the trailer for ergonomics of connecting cables.

Thanks once again and I keep my fingers crossed for passing the next milestone soon :)

Showcase video missing in the idea description and where to find it

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your support - we are getting close to 300 pretty fast.

I've noticed an issue with embedded videos and images on the platform where they start to disappear at some point from submissions, updates and comments and it seems like now it reached this submission.

If you don't see a video embedded in the description and just a big gap in the middle of the text, please go to the Rebrickable page where the embedded video is working properly: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-61040/SaperPL/small-farm-tractor-manual-rc-model/#details

I cannot update the description yet and I have no idea how to fix this issue. I can't embed the video here as well, as it'll just be empty gap and won't even show the link. Currently the showcase video for this build is pinned on my youtube channel's front page.

I'm trying to reach out to platform staff about this issue. Also it may be an issue limited to some regions, so if you can see the full description with the video embedded in it, let me know with a comment.

Thanks once again and I keep my fingers crossed for passing the next milestone soon :)

Passing first milestone of 100 supporters and passing 200 supporters - that was quick :)

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your support on getting through the first milestone of 100 supporters - that was quick, even doubling it in a short time :)

If you like this model and like the instructions I've made for it, check out my other submissions, some of them (Cyber Cruiser, Formula Race Car, Front Engine Roadster) have instructions available for free as well.

I'm planning to make instructions for Mini RC American Style Semi Truck soon including some kind of box trailer in the instructions, and at some point I'll revisit Nimble Forklift to make it properly with powered forklift operation and instructions, as well as I'd like to make the instructions for Mini Wheeled Excavator once I figure out better way to operate the excavator arm, so stay tuned for that if you like my instructions.

Also if you like such small scale technic builds and would watch just how I prototype some of the mechanisms for those builds, check out my youtube channel where I often showcase some small interesting mechanisms that you can build on your own.

Thanks once again and I keep my fingers crossed for passing the next milestone soon :)
