So this is my remote controlled LEGO Technic Hotrod that I've been working on for about a week. It's based on the old T-Bucket hotrods from the early 60s.
I have always wanted a driveable hotrod made from LEGO Technic, and have toyed with the idea for ages, and this week it's finally come to fruition.
In my opinion, this should be one of the new Technic supercars.
The car has functional steering, working pistons and is built in modules. As far as I know, no illegal building techniques. And as my youngest kept crashing it into the table every time he tried driving it, I've had to make it as sturdy as possible. It's now capable of withstanding smaller collisions without breaking apart as well.
The car uses an RC-reciever coupled with a train battery box, a medium motor for driving and a servo motor for the steering.
It's however easy to convert to a non RC design if wanted.
