Garden of Avalon

This build was a spin off from the Art Nouveau project with me figuring out how to do a fan vault in lego. Came out with a structural frame that curves along somewhat following the vault shape. After that was figured out, arranged each component assembly in such a way as to form a structure/enclosure.
Decided that is was going to be a garden used for though and contemplation as the structure conveys a sense of relaxation.
As for the name Avalon ( meaning "the isle of fruit [or apple] trees") . It is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend. It first appears in Geoffrey of Monmouth's 1136 pseudo-historical account Historia Regum Britanniae ("The History of the Kings of Britain") as the place where King Arthur's sword Excalibur was forged and later where Arthur was taken to recover from his wounds after the Battle of Camlann.
The build consist of 1000 bricks including 1 minifigs.
This is my 40th build, and hopefully more to come. As with my previous sets this build is fully playable. If you like this model please do share and support this build through your friends and your social network.
