Car & Truck 01

This build was inspired by a cartoon of a vintage-futuristic truck/transport with a vintage car cargo that I saw on pinterest.

What challenged me with the picture was how to design a minimalist russian vintage-futuristic looking truck and how to proportionally fit a vintage car on its transport bed.

My color scheme for the truck was taken from said picture, while shading the vintage car red to make it pop.

The roof of the truck can be lifted to place the driver minifig while the ramp at the back of the transport bed can be lowered to allow access to the said bed. As for the vintage car, made the swing out doors for the driver and passenger sides mirror opposites to allow easy access to the vehicle.

The build consist of 312 bricks including 2 minifigs. 

This is my 34th build, and hopefully more to come. As with my previous sets this build is fully playable. If you like this model please do share and support this build through your friends and your social network.
