Update 1250 - New dimensions, old friends
First of all I would like to thank all the supporters of the project, together we have come so far, but I am afraid it is not enough - with the current growth of supporters we will not reach the next milestone in time, so if you wanted to draw attention to the project in the social media, feel free to do so - thank you.
The away team has arrived with the LX-10 on Borila (P-72946), as can be seen on the satellite image, there is hardly anything left of the unmanned communication station, nothing worth salvaging, nothing that gives information about what exactly happened here. Without any findings, the babynauts will travel back to the CSBCB to tell their friends and colleagues.
Over Rhea (P-68215) two KL-6s on a border patrol have intercepted an alien starship that is visually identical to the ship photographed by the satellite over the destroyed communications station, the alien ship is not responding - the question is whether they can't or won't respond, the alien ship is huge.
In the meantime, the reality on the "Classic Space Baby Command Base" is changing in phase white, they are at a loss - the quantum reactor is threatening to collapse because it has to produce 5 times the amount of energy due to a phase shift while consumption remains the same, a repair team is on the way to solve the problem.

Still for my friends and interested parties, on 6/6/2024 I was suspended for a while - without giving any reasons. My goal is always to motivate and encourage creativity with my comments - I think Lego is a great toy and I don't want to miss it because I enjoy it. I have always enjoyed answering questions and helping and joking around in a harmless way - as I am not exactly sure why I was suspended, I will no longer do certain things, even if they were always meant to bring cheer and make people happy. I hope that no one else had to share the same fate and was also sent to the penalty box. Stay creative and have fun building - that's always the most important thing.

1234 supporters - The encounter
The satellite orbiting the planet P-72946 (Borila) has captured a disturbing image, the recently constructed ground station has been completely destroyed and an unknown spaceship with the same signature of the "Larger Space Babies" can be identified next to it. The LX-10 (a fast spaceship prototype) was sent to investigate further. Concern is spreading at the "Classic Space Baby Command Base". Were they attacked without aggression? What is the target of the strangers?
Two of the brave babynauts with the LL-9 ½ (spaceship) have just visited a few tourists at the Beta base on Urilla, and had a fun time taking press photos.
In general things are not looking so good for the Babynauts, time is passing faster than they can find supporters. But I have to thank everyone who has helped us get this far with their support.

1200 supporters - A new team member "Welcome Lisa"
Actually I wanted to show the arrival of the Pink Baby Astronaut with a model built with real bricks, but unfortunately the parts have not yet been delivered. The LL-11 is fast approaching the "Classic Space Baby Command Base".
After @Julientheclownofthebrick called the blue space baby "Gunther", I decided to call the pink one "Lisa", so don't be surprised if I occasionally refer to it as "Lisa". (I designed the LL-11 together with @the invisible brick)
Gunther and Lisa seem to get along well - a good prerequisite for future cooperation.

1177 supporters - Beware for the bigger Spacebabies - Warning!
On a routine patrol another group of ( bigger) space babies were observed who seem to be less cheerful and friendly, now we have to be careful for our dear little babynauts - we all don't want the strangers to hurt our colorful troop, steal their milk and break their toys.

1150 supporters - A new ground station
Many thanks to all the nice people who have supported the project so far. Without you it would not be possible it is our adventure together.
After the first contact with an indigenous intelligent life form on P-72946 was established on April 6th (Update 30). A ground station is now being built there to enable permanent contact - The Beta Team is hard at work supported by the assistance robots, watched by their curious alien friends. They find the old 6x6 rovers much more interesting than the new base. The aliens never invented the wheel because they developed a levitation technology that made tires obsolete before they were invented.

A special day - 1111 supporters and an announcement
We have received a transmission from Alpha Base, a visitor is on his way to temporarily support the "Classic Space Baby Command Base". A colleague in a new color.
The LEGO 71046 (Space) Series 26 Minifigures, which will be released on May 1, 2024, will add a pink Space Baby to last year's blue Space Baby.
The extensions shown here have no influence on the actual project and are only intended as inspiration on how to expand the model if you wish.

The communications satellite Nav-Com-125 was installed at the edge of the P-72946 solar system to establish permanent contact with the researchers on the planet where life forms were discovered. While the crew of the LL-9½ mounts and commissions the satellite, the KL-6 supports the operation.

First Contact - New Friends? New Friends!
Well 1020 supporters, 1111 comments and this is the 30th update and perhaps the start of a longer story.
During an exploration tour on P-72946 with their fully sprung 8x8 rovers, the brave babynauts encountered extraterrestrial life, at first communication was somewhat difficult but peaceful intentions could be conveyed, as a symbolic gesture a tentacle was shaken with a baby hand. Neither aggression nor escape behavior was observed, for the logbook: "a peaceful first contact was made". We don't know much about the alien species yet but we are looking forward to finding out. Preparations for a second contact are in full swing.
I would also like to thank "Coral Bricky" @GrandeAquilaTelepatica028 who has spread the word about the model on various social networks - that helps a lot. Grazie mille, amico mio.

1000 supporters - The second milestone (1K)
We did it together, I am absolutely overwhelmed. I have to pinch myself as I write this to believe it, 1000 different nice people have decided to support the "Classic Space Baby Command Base" - This is phenomenal.
The road to the next milestone is 4,000 supporters long and 4/5 of what we have already reached and seems unattainably long, on the way to the goal (10K) we have only reached 10% and are still missing 9,000 votes. I am so grateful for your support, thank you so much.

With 300 days left to reach 5K, the "Classic Space Baby Command Base" would need 3.5 supporters per day, to reach 10K with the 482 days (+182 for 5K) it would even need 20 per day.
