Update 1500 - Attack!
Flight vector 0 7 3 0 to 4 6 8 9, reinforce hull armour, redirect energy to weapons
Acquire target - fire as soon as the target is in range, target marked, pulse guns and plasma launchers ready.
Our weapons have no effect on the asteroid, it is still on a collision course with our base.

The threat from the asteroid has been averted, our friends on the CSBCB (Classic Space Baby Command Base) are safe. A research team will study the asteroid to find out where it came from and what composition makes it so resistant to starship weapons.

Update 1450 - An error escalates
The Baby Command Base intercepts a radio message from Sector-001 "This is Central Command, an AL-12 Command Starship will be arriving shortly, it is flying in automatic mode and is programmed to land in Hangar-2, stand by, the control codes will be delivered personally by a courier shortly afterwards. This new ship will secure your base and serve to protect you, it is equipped with the latest sensor technology and defensive and offensive systems, use it with caution. Central Command out!"
As announced, a short time later a starship in the sector went under light and approached the Baby Command Base at half sublight speed.
Barely 30 minutes after the new ship had landed on board the CSBCB under the astonished eyes of the babynauts, an LL-3 courier ship arrived with two technicians. They unlocked the new AL-12 "Barricade" and gave everyone a briefing on the new technology. The ship was remotely based on the LL-11, but it was completely different from any other ship the Babynauts had ever seen before. What this ship stood for frightened them, the Central Command reckoned with an acute threat from the Blacktron Alliance. This heavily armed ship that had been assigned to them was not a good sign.

Update 1428 – Resources Procurement
As the conflict in the "Delta Vega" sector threatens to escalate, Central Command has dispatched an LL-33 refinery and processing ship escorted by a KL-6 to the "Thermia" system, the only planet in the system that is densely forested in the habitable zone, where there are rich deposits of various raw materials that are important for the construction of further ships and facilities.
The LL-33 can process all known substances and start processing them as soon as they are mined, so that by the time it arrives at its destination it can already provide the usable form.
The four most requested materials are, from left to right, Brickonium (crystals), Precious Metals (4-cornered plate Flat Silver), Superconductors (Round plate Warm Gold) and Rare Earth (Dark Orange Rock) - in addition, standard energy cells are of enormous importance but cannot be produced on the LL-33.

Update 1400 - Who owns the sector
A hyperspace window opens not far from the space station in the "Delta Vega" system. Two black spaceships arrive in the sector 10,000km away from the new space station. The lead ship opens a channel and broadcasts on all frequencies "In the name of the Blacktron Alliance we request you to leave this space sector immediately, we give you 10 days to vacate the territory claimed by us, if you do not take action to remove your facility within the next 10 days we will remove it by force" before you could answer the massive ships flew over the station and left the sector.
Everything was inconspicuous at first, but through the scans of the alien Spaceships, which revealed themselves to be Blacktron spaceships, they were able to search for more of the signature of these ships, at the edge of the solar system another signature was found, an LT-4 cargo ship that flew along not far from this position should make contact with the object.
When the ship arrived it turned out to be a position buoy, the two recently arrived ships that had issued the warning had not been able to place it, so it must have been here for some time, detailed scans showed that its energy source had been active for over 27 years, the Babynauts had invaded a space sector already claimed by another faction.
The crew of the LT-4 transmitted their data to the space station, which forwarded it to the Baby Command Base, meanwhile a support fleet was dispatched from Central Command to secure the space station until a final decision was made.

A special day - 200 days to go
Futuron Fleet Yard in the "Tarn-Vedra" sector consists of countless space docks in which various spaceships are built. A new LL-9 ½ for the "Baby Command Base" will also be built here. There is nothing that is not possible here - the most capable technicians and engineers work here and create new and ever better spaceships. The modules for the construction of the space station in the "Delta Vega" system were also manufactured here.
It's unbelievable how far we've already come, 1380 supporters and 200 days to go. At the moment, support for the project has decreased significantly. I hope that this is due to the European Football Championship in Germany, which will take place from June 14 to July 14 , 2024, and that things will pick up again for the brave Babynauts afterwards. In general, it is clear that classic space models are not having an easy time on Lego Ideas, which surprises me as there are a lot of Lego Classic Space fans.

Update 1350 - Losing is part of the game
Giving up is not part of the life of the Space Babies, we must never forget they are not normal babies but Space Babies. When Red and Yellow realized that they couldn't save the LL-9 ½ and the ship was about to burst apart, they used all their know-how and built two rocket chairs with the two main engines, one engine per seat, by keeping the mass as low as possible they managed to escape the gravitational pull before their spaceship broke apart. Only moments later, the mysterious 4-cornered ship had vanished without a trace, leaving behind a huge debris field of fragments that could once have been a planet.
Since Yellow and Red were already missing, Blue and Pink interrupted their work in the lab to bring White back to normal size and follow the course of the LL-9 ½ with the LL-11.
Meanwhile, Green and Black held the position in the command center supported by the Lime, Orange and Brow robots. Somewhat lonely and sad, the white space baby, maximized to XXL size, remained in the hangar with the hope that Blue and Pink would quickly find a solution, it was no fun in the hangar without the others and it was no fun to be so big.
When the LL-11 with Blue and Pink arrived in the "Epsilon Eridani" system, they took Yellow and Red on board and made their way to "Classic Space Baby Command Base" before recovering the on-board computer of the destroyed LL-9 ½ with all the collected data. A ship could easily be replaced but the lives of Red and Yellow were priceless so everyone was very happy that no one had really been harmed.

Update 1340 - A new Space Station
A space station for babynauts has been built in the Delta Vega system. As a permanent outpost of the "Classic Space Baby Command Base". It is hoped that well-equipped laboratories and high-resolution telescopes will provide new insights. The crew on the CSBCB are already looking forward to their first visit on board.
@the invisible brick has released a space station for the space babies as part of the "Build the perfect vacation rental!" activity I helped build.
We currently have 211 days left and have already reached 1340 supporters. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get new people interested in the Space Babies project.

Update 1300 - A ancient mysterious ship
Over the third planet of the "Epsilon Eridani" system, the LL-9 ½ has found a huge object to remain motionless over the planet and collect fragments of the asteroid field that surrounds the planet like a ring. When the LL-9½ scans the object, it activates its system and imitates a huge energy field. The Red and Yellow Space Babies aboard the spaceship are attracted to the large mass the object has, the plan is to adjust the polarity of their shielding and transfer any energy into the over-light drive. Whatever it is, it's thousands of years old and more technologically advanced than anything they've seen before.

Update 1288 - A look inside Hangar-2 (222 days left)
We haven't seen much of the rest of the Babynauts' sprawling base on the planet "Berengaria" so far. To mark the fact that there are only 222 days left, I would like to briefly introduce Hangar-2.
While Hangar-1 is used to land and launch incoming spaceships and is also where the LL-9 ½, LX-10, LL-11 and KL-6 are parked, Hangar-2 is almost always empty, where new vehicles are assembled, expertly built and carried out. Sometimes this area is also referred to as "workshop" or "warehouse" but it is officially Hangar-2.
Things aren't looking so good for the Brave Babynauts at the moment. The steady decline in interest means that progress is slow. Here's a look at the numbers.

Update 1270 - Something is different
When the white space baby opened his eyes in the morning, everything seemed a little different to him, the large quarters suddenly seemed oppressively small, on the way to the large hangar to inspect the LL-11 he had the feeling that all the corridors had become tiny. It was only when he stood in front of the LL-11 that he realised in shocking whiteness that it was the other way round. Not everything had become smaller, , he had become bigger in a frightening white way.
His friends and colleagues were astonished. Lucy (pink) and Gunther (blue) immediately set about finding a cause and a solution to transform their friend in the white spacesuit back to normal size.
The XXL Space Baby is available on Rebrickable as "A Spacebaby Tribute" (MOC-178327) based on the instructions from "Bricktum" - as a big Space Baby fan, it was immediately clear to me that I wanted to have it.
I'd also like to point out the two great new projects by @Santheg that are subtly and cleverly connected to each other and also have a little reference to me and this project.
