The ol' Jack will fix it
That's what so many people here say all the time. The ol' Jack and his yellow tow truck are well known and popular in Lego Town! He really does an excellent job with roadside assistance, which is why so many people trust him implicitly.
The ol' Jack is Granny's oldest friend and he also carries the unshakable inner peace that Granny is so known for. No one knows how old Jack really is, but he's for sure old enough to retire ... but that doesn't occur to him. As long as he feels healthy enough for fixing all the broken down cars on the roads of his home town he will not come to rest. Jack does his work day in and day out without complaining, and with a composure that is second to none. Everyone appreciates Jack, and no one could imagine the town with out him - he is just a good soul and beloved by everyone!
So, where is your Jack? Your Lego Town will not be complete without him. So, vote for Jack and make come him true as an original Lego Ideas set!
How did I come across this set?
The set came in my mind, when I thought about adding something fitting to my already submitted set Granny's Little House. The tow truck and the sports car were already available, because I submitted them already as standalone MOCs on BrickLink. The tow truck was featured there as a staff pick, and the sports car (the original version is green) is one of my personal favorites. So it was obvious to me to combine both in one set. And here it is!
I hope you like it! If this is the case support Jack and feel free to leave a note! I'd be happy to do that the other way around too!
Have fun!
