Hint to a next update for the apartment
I was playing around a bit with the playability for the apartment set, and there things went a bit wrong.
So, now the whole building made it onto LEGO ideas!

Kitchen from the other side and shower update
So since rendering takes a very long time (sorry about update number one, I'm not going to turn anti-aliasing off again, even if it speeds up rendering considerably), here are two shots from LDD, the kitchen from the other side and the updated bathroom (Kraglized tiles)
Emmet's car
So, I did a small thingy :) I also replicated Emmet's car from the movie. It would be nice to add it to this set, then it could really become a set to play with as well as look at.
There are instructions for the car at http://brickfanatics.co.uk/emmets-car-tru-build-instructions/
These instructions however are not correct. The difference is that the 4x2 black plate under the front glass is not there. They added it to fortify the car. But it only requires a 4x1 black plate and a 4x1 white plate to correct this :)
More work on the kitchen & adding some detail overall
First of all, thanks to everybody who gave me support. The comments have been great and have really inspired me to continue working on this thing!
I have found a video which has another view of a part of Emmet's kitchen. As far as I know, this video should be considered 'canon' so it uses the original model (albeit slightly modified).
So I finished the kitchen counter, the nice handsoap bottle, and the tap. I knew it was that part, just not how it was placed. The kitchen got extended by quite a margin, and I managed to put a stove in there. The cooker hood is seen briefly in the movie, so I added that as well. Still unsure about the oven, and the lid covering the stove pits. I updated the refrigerator, and created the microwave.
I finally found a way to use decals on every single brick (it involves exporting to XML format and manually setting a decal for a certain brick, then you can apply a custom decal on that one later)
Also some minor things that have been changed. The TV has been added. Since it's kraglized, this took a significant amount of time and creative hacking in LDD.
Emmet's room now has some stuff on top of the cabinet. It's still missing the brown thing at the end (no idea what brick it is) and the basketball, since I cannot place it on top. I hope LDD 5 has a friendlier way of just randomly placing stuff. Computer and table have changed a bit and the plant locations are now correct :)
