EMD GP38 (The Return)

At the time this project had its first gathering for support, there was another project gathering support that inspired me to build this model. Built by cheeseinthepie, this project was the F7A Train Set. To make reference to this project, I built this EMD GP38 locomotive project. 🚄🚃

This project is 646 pieces. The locomotive features railings, horns, a removable cab, and a removable engine room roof. However, closer inspection of this latter part of the locomotive reveals that it is compatible with Powered UP components. The elements necessary to motorize the locomotive are a Train Motor and a Hub. You may also use a Remote Control to operate the locomotive if you don't want to use a mobile device. This project also comes with one minifigure. (Should I add another?) 🛤

For the entire month of October, I will be leaving LEGO Ideas for a hiatus. Of course, I will be back in November! 😊
