Love this picture too - on ship after completion

Brickley the Lego Sea Serpent of course came from a Lego Store (IIRC, in Honolulu, we had to buy parts in Hawai'i).  The pineapple must've been one of their tropical theme decorations, don't exactly remember how it came to be on the table.  I like this photo though, up on the top deck with the pacific ocean behind us.

Please share! Keep us on "popular this week!"

Our rate is slowing down a bit.  It'd be nice to make the front page of "popular this week" when the two nearing 10K ahead of us drop off, but I don't know if we'll be able to maintain the momentum long enough.  We need ~100 supporters a day (and no brilliant projects behind us jumping up) for a few more days to get up there.

If we can stay on the list a little longer, then we'll make 1000, have more time, and be a little more visible in searches.

Please keep sharing!

Four Ships

I mentioned at the beginning that this set could be all 4 ships.  Obviously I’ve built the Lego Wonder, but these ships get remodelled all the time so they keep changing.  The Magic and Wonder and were pretty close when I’d built this model, but the Wonder had some work done, most visibly around the adult pool, and differed from the Magic.  Captain Fabian was able to tell when a picture was taken just by the minor changes to antennas, etc. on the ships!

The Magic has now been refurbished with a fancy slide, extended waterline, and the kids area is way different, but those would be pretty easy to modify as an option for this MOC.

The Fantasy & Dream are also sister ships, however they’re significantly bigger than the Magic & Wonder.  Their lines are also a little bit different.  There are two options there:  Keep the size and modify the lines to better match those ships, or modify the scale at the same time, so that if you bought all four, the proportions would be right.

Disney loves to promote the Fantasy & Dream, so I think if only one (or sisters) were to become a real set, then those are the obvious choice.  But I love the smaller Magic and Wonder, so it would be great if they were still an option.  Worst case let them all be the same size, to reuse as many bricks as possible, but include minor details and names for all four.

Video of the building the Wonder again since I can’t fix the link on the front page:

Also, please don't forget to share!

We're going kind of steady at the moment, but it might be starting to slip a bit.  I'd be much happier if we were on the first wheel of the "Popular This Week".  I'll feel more comfortable when we get to 1,000!

Cool, we're "popular this week!"

Let's see if we can keep it up, or even climb the rankings (1st page would be way better than 3rd page don't you think?)  Thanks for supporting and please keep sharing.  PS: Following can't hurt!

Some other worthy MOCs that caught my attention

Since I was poking around, here're some other projects that caught my attention if folks want to take a look:

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/101885 - Modular Train Station – how else do folks get from modular town to modular town, it’s about time there was a Train Station!

I really like the Merchant’s House https://ideas.lego.com/projects/125422 and Fishing Store https://ideas.lego.com/projects/124448 - I get the same feeling from both of them, and I love their attention to detail.

And, well, this one’s in my theme at least :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/116281 - Microscale Disneyland.  Fun and great detail for that scale.

This one’s in review, but I really like it and hope they approve it:
https://ideas.lego.com/projects/59212 - 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea – One of my favorite stories and rides from Disneyland…

300 in 2 1/2 days! Woo hoo!

300 in 2 1/2 days!  Woo hoo!  Keep up the momentum and keep sharing!  We really need a few hundred more in the next few days to really have much of a chance.  This first week is critical!

Thanks to everyone that's already supported!
