The Norwegian Bliss is one of the newest cruise ships in NCL's fleet. Entering service in 2018, this ship features state-of-the-art accommodations to its guests. With the top deck with slides and pools, the observation deck with snacks and views, or the staterooms, either an inner cabin or a cabin with a balcony, this ship is almost a city on the water. This LEGO Ideas submission is the same ship, but in micro scale.
What is it?
As mentioned above, this is a state-of-the-art cruise ship. It is essentially a hotel on the water.
Why did you build it?
I recently took a cruise on the very prototype, and thought this would be a fun build. I don't have much experience with building anything but minifigure scale, so I thought that this would be a fun challenge.
Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO creation?
- This creation is realistic. It contains a lot of life like features.
- This is a model that can fit almost anywhere while maintaining details.
- It's unique. LEGO doesn't stock too many cruise ships, especially not in microscale.
