Holiday Decorations for Grand Central
While I love New York in all seasons, the city puts on its best show at Christmastime! I've decked out my Grand Central Terminal model with trees, wreaths and lights to celebrate the season.
In addition to the holiday decorations, I've made a few improvements to the model. The facade now boasts a true clock face, and the statue of Mr. Vanderbuilt in the central arch is now a microscale Lego minifigure!
All four sides of the exterior now have sidewalks, roads, crosswalks and vehicles. And the two formerly empty baseplate areas now are covered in snow and evergreens.
Last, but not least, I've installed a tile floor on the interior, matching the pattern of the actual building, and have installed a tiny button piece on the information booth for the famous 4-sided clock.
Thank you to all who have supported so far! Happy Holidays to all!

I've made some recent updates to the model, filling up some of that blank grey space on the baseplate by including the surrounding streets, sidewalks, cars and the iconic NYC yellow taxi cabs. More updates & photos to come soon!
