For our brick cities we are often in search of a nice train station.
I have here an European style train station inspired from an actual existing building situated in my home country, Romania.
"Baile Herculane" Station is considered the most beautiful station in the country. It was built between 1878 and 1886 by architect AD Serres. The building, completed in Baroque style, is a copy of the hunting castle of Queen Maria Theresa near Vienna. This building was built first for Franz Joseph of Austerich (1830-1916) as a hunting lodge.
The building currently is on the national list of architectural monuments, and we hope that it will soon be renovated.

I have tried to recreate the beauty of the building with it's dome style roof and unique architectural style. My design has 3700 pieces and it features only 6 mini-figures, we have one cashier lady, a mechanic, a conductor, a business man and a traveling family waiting for the train to arrive.
The building itself consists of a waiting area, which has interiors and can be seen in the photos, we have a bathroom and a cashiers office which can be customized in any way. the roof is easily removable to get access to the building interior, however the dome style roof cannot be removed because it stays on a pillar for support, it is made with similar techniques as "The Globe". With the tiling on the roof i have tried to recreate the geometrical shapes present on the roof of the actual building.
The construction can also be easily expanded with the waiting areas along the train lines, which consist of some pillars covered in greenery and some benches.
