This simple Lego 3D printer model
combines two of my favorite hobbies, Lego and 3D printing. Lego and the growing
maker movement share many of the same aspirations and goals. Both the Lego
Brick and the 3D printer stimulate the imagination and represent limitless
possibilities.
The set features a rotating filament
spool, movable X-Y-Z stage, electronics box, control panel, power supply and a
Bowden extruder arrangement.
Updates:
Anyone who owns a 3D printer has has likely printed a Benchy or two while optimizing their printer settings. I added a micro Benchy model to the print bed instead of the 2 x 2 red brick.
I also created a sticker to show the LCD screen and scroll wheel featured on most desktop printers.
