Far: Lone Sails - Locomotive

FAR: Lone Sails is an indie game, that allows us to experience a great adventure in a post-apocalyptic world accompanied only by our vehicle.
The game's vehicle is a hybrid between a land and sea vehicle that has been modified a number of times.
To control the vehicle the player must move around inside it, operating stations and pressing buttons to perform various functions that keep the vehicle moving, such as engaging the engine or filling the boiler with fuel sources found over the course of the player's journey.
The game has hooked many people with its atmosphere of melancholy and loneliness, in which you can have a good time alone with yourself and your ship.

The set embodies a locomotive and the main goal of the game's heroine - a lighthouse. The locomotive in Far: Lone Sails is not just a vehicle; it’s a real character of the game, embodying the spirit of adventure and survival. Its design combines elements of a sailboat, a steam engine, and an industrial train, making it visually intriguing. LEGO is a great medium to capture this aesthetic, as it allows you to detail complex mechanisms and give the model a distinctive look.

The locomotive’s mechanisms in the game require control, repairs, and maintenance, making it not just an object but a part of the gameplay. By recreating it with LEGO, you could try to make moving parts — wheels, sails, pistons. This adds interactivity to the model and makes it more exciting to build and play with.

Far: Lone Sails is a game about traveling into the unknown, wandering through desolate lands in search of something new. I decided to build it because by building a LEGO locomotive you are in a way continuing that journey, but in the real world. It’s a fantastic way to express your inspiration and share your love for the game with others.
