Bac-Concorde

Hello all.

Today I present before you...the BAC-CONCORDE! As most of you probably know the Concorde was a joint venture between Britain and France. It is adored and loved by all those who know of it. As an aviation enthusiast (and flight sim pilot), the Concorde has always inspired awe in me. So I decided to build a model of it out of LEGO. The Concorde was a mach-2 supersonic airliner developed in the late 1960s. It has a distinct shape that can be easily identified. Only 20 of these marvellous machines were built. This plane had a ‘droop-snoot’ for greater visibility for the pilots. Here I have incorporated this feature too. Unfortunately I couldn’t add the control surfaces. The showcase includes the plane and a stand that shows it in the takeoff/landing position. I couldn’t include retractable landing gear either so...sorry. This plane is one of my all-time favourites, and I’m sure that many other people would agree with me. This is a fairly easy and quick build and I took about 2 hours to build it all.

This would be a great set as this plane is one of the most iconic planes ever and LEGO has only built a couple or so REAL plane models. This would be a huge boost to LEGO aerospace section. Also, it is a hundred-and-ten percent swooshable plane, just take the landing gear off and take to the skies in your own Concorde. So please support me and my project, so that one day the Concorde flies to the shelves.
