7,000 SUPPORTERS - now in the Top 30 most supported! Voting gaining speed again!
6,000 supporters!
Halfway there!
Dear supporters! On Saturday "BASEMENT & SEWERAGE" surpassed the important 5,000 supporters milestone. A big "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" goes to all of you because you are the ones who made this possible. Now, to get to the goal of 10,000 votes, every current supporter would just need to convince ONE friend to also vote and that would be it. ;)

LEGO CITY's future is underground. Let's do it!
Hidden items revealed!
Dear LEGO fans! As we're nearing the important 5,000 supporters mark now (thanks to all of you!), I'd like to reveal today all of the items taken from LEGO's Modular Buildings that were intentionally placed in the Basement as fun little references to the theme. Some of you did some great detective work already, finding many of the hidden stuff on their own and leaving comments about their discoveries - thank you very much! Now it's about time for the complete list to be officially revealed:

Basement Revelation - Connecting the Dots ...
On the occasion of the current "Activity" called "LEGO Build Day" I'd like to connect the dots between "Basement & Sewerage" and my "Putting 2 Pieces of Plastic Together" build. Will this "Basement Revelation" answer some pressing questions about the big mystery behind all this? Maybe. Or will it only raise more questions? Most certainly ...
Basement Revelation
"While watering the potted plant in his room, the janitor stumbled over the edge of the cat’s carpet. Thrown off balance he severely banged his head against the back wall – thereby unhinging a large squarish wall segment that noisily crashed rearwards. Gazing into the dead black void outside, the baffled janitor caught sight of two red 2x4 bricks, masterfully connected, silently hovering in mid-air. What on earth did this all mean? Was he on earth at all?!"
"Motivational Poster" in different language versions
Promotion for this project requires reaching out to LEGO fans from many different countries. That's why I created versions in different languages for the "motivational poster" released on the occasion of reaching 4,000 supporters - three of them I'd like to present you in this little update.
4,000 supporters! Now let's finish the job!
The project has just received its 4,000th vote - after only 86 days! This is again an incredible success and I'd like to say "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" to all current and future supporters! From now on it will be even more important for all of you to share the project link and spread the word to your friends! If every current supporter would be able to get just ONE friend to also vote, the project would advance to 8,000 votes easily ;)

10K is in reach - more than ever before! Now, let's finish the job!
3,000 supporters gained after only 67 days!
Today we reached the next milestone on our way to the magic 10,000 mark: After only 68 days, we're now at
3,000 supporters already! So once again, a big thank you to all my supporters and everyone who will join from now on!
Let me do a little math on this occasion: With 3,000 supporters now on board, if everyone of you would be
able to convince only 2 friends to also support - then this project would be sure to hit 9,000
supporters! ;)

As you can see from the statistics, the time it took to go from 2K to 3K was again shorter than from 1K
to 2K and from 0 to 1K - so the project is still gathering speed on its way to 10K!
Everything is possible from now on! Let's do it!
Your modifying ideas for the model
Dear LEGO fans,
while BASEMENT & SEWERAGE is nearing the 3,000 supporters mark - thanks to all your votes! - I'd like to share a list of suggestions, collected from the discussions with all of you in the IDEAS comments and around the internet. As you all know BASEMENT & SEWERAGE can be used as an underground extension for all 32x32 Modular Buildings, but also as a stand-alone model. In conversations LEGO fans have come up with more and more modifying options for the set. I'd like to start listing those ideas in this Update and add new ones as they come in from now.
LEGO fans' modifying ideas for BASEMENT & SEWERAGE
(stand-alone or attached to another build on top):
- Subway station
- Train tunnel (with tracks running through the front section)
- Bunker (Cold War Bunker, "Doomsday" Bunker)
- Castle dungeon & secret passageway (also for "The Lord of the Rings", "The Hobbit" and "Harry Potter" (Hogwarts))
- "The Mandalorian" hideout + sewerage (as seen in season 1)
- "Turtles Mutant Ninja Turtles" lair
- Storm shelter
- Batman's "Batcave" (this would be the first iteration actually attachable to a building)
- Road tunnel (with a road running through the front section)
- Underground garage
- Slime river scene from "Ghostbusters 2"
- Sewer lair fight scene from "The Amazing Spider-Man"
- All kinds of underground break-in / (bank) robbery movie settings ("The Italian Job", ...)
- Certain scenes or locations from different movies ("2067", "Reign of Fire" (opening sequence), ... )
- Re-enactment of "Urbexing" (Urban Exploration) / "Lost Places" tours
- All kinds of spooky & horror movie settings
Feel free to leave any new suggestions in the comments! Thanks a lot in advance for your input!
Happy Halloween: 2,000 supporters reached!
Right on this year's Halloween (or half an hour late to be honest...) a big thank you goes out to all my supporters, because today BASEMENT & SEWERAGE reached the next milestone: 2,000 votes! That means getting from 1K to 2K even took some days less than getting from 0 to 1K. I guess that's a good thing, isn't it?

How long will it take to get another 1K supporters to reach the next milestone of 3,000? Will the project reach 3K at all? As always, time will tell. And as always, heartfelt thanks to all of you, let's do this!
