"How does the model look with a Modular building on top?"...

While I do not have a Modular built-up and ready to be connected and photographed, I would like to provide you a picture of the model's direct front-view that everybody can use for combining it with a direct front-view picture of the Modular building they would like to see put on top (but for that one you would have to look for yourself on the internet).

It's quite easy to combine the two pictures since the Modular's baseplate is exactly the width of the model's top (what you won't see in this combined picture are the attachment clips, of course). The depiction will not be 100% but pretty close. The photoshop I did with the linked picture (below) and an official LEGO picture of the Parisian Restaurant (direct front-view) looks really fantastic ;) but I cannot post this here (because of the copyright for the Modular's photo).

Use this direct front-view of the BASEMENT & SEWERAGE model to combine with a (direct front-view) picture of your favorite Modular building (see link or picture below) :

Fictional Movie Poster "JANITOR 2 - CLEANING DAY"

Today I'd like to present you a poster for a fictional movie, starring the janitor from my BASEMENT & SEWERAGE model. Why? Just for the fun of it and to give something back to my supporters.

JANITOR 2 - CLEANING DAY (Coming 2021)

Feel free to leave your feedback for the poster here in the comments:

Halloween Update: New Spooky Pictures

Halloween is coming - about time for another round of spooky pictures! For the current IDEAS Activity "Spooky Backgrounds" I have posted several new photos from my BASEMENT & SEWERAGE model, along with some new "possible storylines".

LEGO IDEAS Activity "Spooky Backgrounds":

a) BASEMENT SCARE
(this one was later selected by the LEGO IDEAS team as 1 of 13 new Halloween backgrounds for video calls; you'll find the download link in the blog post "New Backgrounds for Video Calls")

Getting the Basement Party started! (1,000 supporters reached)

BASEMENT & SEWERAGE was approved on 11 September 2020, 12:43 and hit the 1,000 supporters mark on 8 October 2020, 23:37 (Since I unfortunately was not able to ask supporter #1,000 for his/her permission to be mentioned here, I will substitutionally thank NickLafreniere1 for making his historically important click (or tap?) on the support button as #999!)

It only took around 27,5 days to reach this milestone, which - for me personally - is a phenomenal success because I never would have expected to do it this fast (or even at all).

A thousand thanks to all the 1,000 first supporters who got this Basement & Sewerage Party started! ... I have to admit that "Sewerage Party" does sound a bit uninviting, so I'm rather going with "Basement Party" only ;)

But as we all know this is only the beginning for a journey that might take many months - that is unless every single one of my first 1,000 supporters can find "only" 9 other LEGO fans and get them to vote, then the journey could come to a successfull end real fast ... Alright, let's be realistic for a moment: The next big goal is reaching that 5,000 supporters mark which will already be hard enough, I guess. So, I will not hold you back spreading the word about my project!

Heartfelt thanks to all of you, let's do this!

BASEMENT MYSTERY

In Part II of the "Scary Photography" Activity mini-stories about my BASEMENT & SEWERAGE model, the janitor discovers that hidden floor stash in Compartment B one night and is shocked what he discovers inside (see the project's photo gallery for a closer look at the contents) - this is, of course and as always, only one of many possible storylines:

Thank you all very much for reaching 500 supporters!

I would like to give a big THANK YOU to the first 500 LEGO fans who supported me on this project! These first 5% of the long way to 10,000 votes have been accomplished in less than 15 days, which - for me personally - is already a great success. So once again: Thank you all very much!

I'd also like to use this opportunity to invite all of you once again to leave suggestions for the janitor's past sports career in the comments. What sport might he have received all his hidden trophies for? So far I received (only) one suggestion by one of my supporters who commented the janitor might have been a professional hockey player because he is very skilled with a mop, which is a great and well-founded idea in my opinion. If you have other ideas, feel free to leave a comment!

I am looking forward to accomplish the remaining 95% of the way to 10,000 votes with your support and would like to thank everybody who will join going forward from here!
