The Lego FW18 meets the REAL FW19

Awesome gathering at the Manoir de l'Automobile de Lohéac, in France. My FW18 has met her big sister, a REAL Williams Renault FW19!

Focus on wheels.

On left, a bespoke polymer past made-of tyre fitted on the 56908 wheel with yellow painted outer trim and "googdyear" yellow stickers.
On right the same 56908 wheel, no painted trim, Lego Group "tumbler" rear tyre ref: 18450.
I undertsand that to produce a new mold, even very close to an existing one, could be an expensive process. As lego tyres 18450 and 52985 mimic perfectly the "rain" tyres, a balanced choice could be done by TLG: Just Yellow outer rim on 56908 wheel would give an excellent visual result.

Full livery and slick tyres.

This is the full livery i think that has to be on this car. The tyres are not lego but polymer past made of, to a realistic "slick" render. Lego could easily in my opinion produce them, just with simplified versions of ref:18450 (rear tyre) and ref: 52985 (front tyre). Sculpting has just to be removed from the mold. On rim, yellow trim has been painted to match OZ racing wheels of the real car. Shoudn't be a difficulty for the lego group to produce these rims this way cause they have already done that with the ref: 16618 in the 41999 set.
