Remote Controlled Rat Rod Wrecker Technic Car

So this is my remote controlled Rat Rod Wrecker Technic car that I have worked on for about a week. It's based on the old wrecker tow trucks from the 30s that a lot of people started converting to hot rods and rat rods in the 60s and onwards.
I love the rat rod aesthetic, where you have a car that looks quite unassuming, but actually boasts high performance.
The car is fully remote controlled and is run by a Power Functions L-Motor. The steering is powered by a Power Functions Servo Motor. Both motors are connected to a Power Functions IR-receiver and a train battery box.
As you can see by the photos I have made two alternatives. A clean look and a more rusty and run down look. The parts are quite easy to swap, and my thought is that the model can come with extra parts so that you're able to easily convert it and choose for yourself which look you want 😁
The car has moving pistons, a fully functional steering wheel and independent suspension. The rear fenders are attached to the suspension, and move together with the suspension to prevent the rear wheels from touching the wheel arches.
The roof is possible to open as a hatch to allow access to the interior.
The car also has a working crane that moves by using linear actuators. At the moment, the crane and winch are both hand powered, but I think I have figured out a way to make the whole crane motorized, and I will probably post this as an update in a while.
The crane is easily removed by removing just two pins, which again allows access to the trunk, where the battery box is located. Both battery box, IR-receiver and motors are easy to remove if you want to swap to an unmotorized version.
I think this will be a great new addition to the Technic series. Lego has never made a proper 30s style classic car with Technic parts before. (at least not as a large as this, or as a main model). I know there are a lot of motorheads like me who would love to own a proper remote controlled Hot Rod. The car also runs like a scalded dog and is incredibly fun to drive. That alone should be a good enough reason to have one 😁
As always, all feedback, both positive and negative will be highly appreciated, and might be implemented and shown later in the updates section 😊 👍
