The one little thing missing from this set was the Orion the Block 1 SLS is actually launching.

Now this is prototype but is scaled to fit the size of the whole set!

'Almost' Road Show #3

We were this close to taking the Lego SLS out to Utah for the QM-2 test on the Solid Rocket Booster for the 3rd stop in the SLS Lego Road Show!

But the pieces didn't fall into place so I'm watching on TV this morning. You can view the test fire on http://go.nasa.gov/29057JB

the test is now scheduled for 10 am CST. You can find out even more about the SLS Solid Rocket Boosters at:

http://www.nasa.gov/exploration/systems/sls/multimedia/what_is_qm-2.html

Success! What a Test Fire!

Road Show #1: The road show begins on a Super note!

Hi Lego Fans,

Over the next few months I'm going to be taking the Lego SLS set all around the country! All in hope of drumming up support for the project and educating the public on the real SLS rocket. The first stop in our road show was in Metropolis Illinois over this past weekend at their annual Superman Celebration! The Space Launch System, Superman and the American flag, wow that's a photo! I even got Superman himself to take a picture with it!

Let your friends know about our road show and encourage them to SUPPORT and definitely FOLLOW this set!

You never know where we will pop up next!
