Spring Brickebana Flower Arrangement

This beautiful model is inspired by ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Ikebana is a centuries-old practice that takes careful consideration of the materials, space and balance to create harmonious, asymmetrical compositions. Some of its principles were applied to this brick-built design, hence the "Brickebana" portion of the model's name.

This arrangement features a large, white Chinese peony, framed by thunberg spirea branches that provide strong lines among the flowers. The other flowers featured are a purple buttercup, yellow and pink tulips, and a white mini rose.
