Had to take new and improved photos 😮💨
So I had to take new and improved photos of the new model. LEGO thought some of the ones I submitted were too blurry, and I totally agree now that I've inspected them closer.
Luckily I was able to include some changes I made in the last minute. Here's a sneek peek, as you probably have to wait a day or two for the new submission to be launched 😅
I have made two separate versions. One "run down" version and another "clean" version:

Submitted a new project 🥳🎉
I just submitted a new project that's being moderated at the moment. Here's a sneek peek at some of the pictures and a video of how it works:

New photos of both cars 😁
Some new pictures of both cars. Starting to get satisfied with the look and function of the crane on the green rat rod wrecker. It's still far from finished in terms of function. I need to make a compressor and somehow link it to the drive line and I also need to improve the mechanism for the pistons and the steering wheel. Uncertain if there's going ro be room for interior with all those functions embedded. Why, oh why do I have to make everything so hard to make?!?😅

Next project almost finished 😊 Green RC Rat Rod Wrecker.
So my next project is soon finished.
As I only have one medium sized LEGO motor, I haven't been able to fit a motor in it yet, but I am planning on making this model remote controlled as well. (Might have to buy an extra motor 🙄) The car has been built to fit a medium motor and I already have a servo motor installed.
The pistons are working, and at the moment, I'm also working on linking the steering mechanism to the steering wheel as elegantly as possible. I am also going to make a red pneumatic crane that's going to be attached to the back of the car, (where you can see the slits in the trunk)
The roof and the trunk are possible to open and the car also has fully working suspension. The mudguards over the rear wheels are coupled to the suspension and moves when the suspension moves to prevent the wheels from touching the mudguards.
Will probably submit my new project in a couple of days, so stay posted 😁 Just need to work out a couple of kinks first 😉

Started my next project today.
So I started building my next project today. It's based on basically the same style frame and suspension as the white hot rod, but since I want to keep my first car complete and not borrow any parts from it to make the new one, I'm a bit strapped for parts at the moment, and have had to be extra creative 😅
I have however actually managed to improve both the steering and the suspension for my new project due to the fact that I've had use alternative parts.
The new car is going to be a tow truck wrecker style rat rod with a roaring V8 engine. I'm going for functional steering and moving pistons here as well, and I actually think I'm going to be able to improve the steering mechanism a lot on this one, as the linkage to the steering wheel on the white hot rod admittedly is a bit wonky 😅
The new rat rod will also have a functional crane. I'm currently debating with myself whether to make it with hydraulics or linear actuators. It would be a lot more controllable with linear actuators, but hydraulics is just so cool! 😁 Guess you'll just have to wait and see 😉
As always feedback both positive and negative will be highly appreciated 😊 👍

Better photos
Better photos of the Hot Rod 😊
Feel free to suggest changes to further improve the car 🙂
I just want to say that I have appreciated all of the good suggestions I've gotten from you guys over the last couple of days, and I have implemented a lot of the changes you and the people of Reddit have suggested.
Thank you so much for all of the wonderful compliments and a warm and heartfelt thank you to everbody who has supported the project so far. My heart goes out to you guys! What a truly lovely community! ❤️

Final update in a while.
I found all the parts I needed to make the changes I wanted, so I'm starting to get really satisfied with the end result, and I don't think I'll make any more alterations to the project.
At least not in a while... 😅
I have made a new project as well that has been submitted and is up for approval at the moment. It will hopefully be approved by the moderators shortly.
It's a bit of a goofy creation, so please bear with me 😅 Some cues: Lego Technic, pull-back racer, grasshopper, teal, jet engines and a lot of flames 😝
And as always, feedback both positive and negative will be highly appreciated 😊 👍

Some minor alterations
So I have once more made some minor alterations to the front of the car to make it even more realistic.
I'm waiting for a couple of parts to make the grille seamless, but apart from the visible blue pins and the pins sticking out from the "chrome" trim around the grille, it's pretty much how I want it to be.
The carburetor has also been slightly altered to make it even more life-like, the windshield has been improved to look less chunky, and I have also improved the mechanism of the working seat belt.
It would be cool to make it into a V8 though, as one supporter suggested, so I might rebuild it once more 😅 But that's a major rebuild of the entire front of the car, and I might have to order even more parts, so we'll have to see 😉
As always, feedback both positive and negative will be highly appreciated 😊 👍

Major rebuild and video of functions.
So I've worked a couple of hours on the car this weekend, and I've altered it a lot from rhe original entry. I decided to make the engine a lot more realistic, and I've also replaced a lot of the non-technic parts with Technic parts. This has made the car incredibly sturdy and in my opinion also made it look even more professionally built.
As it has been requested by a lot of you, I've also included a video of the car running and steering.
All feedback, both positive and negative, will be highly appreciated 😊
