I have changed from Power Functions to Powered Up. Now the balance sensor in the Technic hub drives a motor which moves the counter balance weight. It works very well and may be improved with a PID control program. The ladder was a challenge. I did my best. The base is now more compact.

New cab and driver.
This is my current idea for a better cab fit for a minifig driver. More improvements will be posted as I complete them.
