This is my Lego Technic funtional model of a tower crane. It has three Power Functions motors, two extension cables, two IR receivers, a battery box and two remote controls. There are about 1440 pieces and six metres of Lego string in this model. It stands 1.27 metres tall and measures 1.43 metres long. The structure is very strong and well balanced and the motors are geared down to realistic speeds. When using the three counter balance weights it can lift 80g at full extension and 670g close to the tower.
