Ancient Temple

This is a temple with an ancient time period theme.  All parts were chosen from Lego Pick-a-Brick walls at Lego stores.  The theme is one that I think is lacking but very interesting in Lego products.  This project allowed me to share some history with my kids and the flexibility in the use of a variety of pieces taught basic building concepts.  The waves in the water, the fountain inside the building and the overgrowth are all brought together with sand and dirt.  Palm trees are easily made as well.

I would love to see a Greek based theme or similar ancient architecture series, or even a set, that allows the education of kids while they build something interesting.
