Hello,

There are two ancient monuments that I loved visiting: the Colosseum and the Acropolis of Lindos on the island of Rhodes in Greece.

The Acropolis of Lindos is sublime and at its summit culminates the Temple of Athena Lindia, a magnificent ruin of a temple dating from the eighth century BC.
This ruined temple stands along a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, which gives it the air of an indestructible building that has passed the centuries without disappearing.
The temple is 22 meters long and 8 meters wide.
The 8 columns forming the north and south entrance are still standing despite the centuries.
Around the est and west walls, grooves for wooden supports to hold the coverings inside the temple are still visible.
There was a statue of Athena carrying a shield in the center of the temple but it was supposedly stolen by Theodosius, Emperor of Byzantium and later destroyed.

As I wanted to create a ancient building and as i love this temple so I tried to recreate this temple from the photos I took when I visited it plus a few photos gleaned from the internet.
I tried to recreate the columns and the dilapidated state of the walls still standing. I also tried to replicate the groove on the wall.
This set is made up of 2691 Lego pieces.

I think a Greek ruin set would be really interesting, whether for the construction or for the fun and historical side. And there is not much Greek set

If you also liked Greek ruins, do not hesitate to support this set and share.

Thank you.
