New Model Photo
Today's photo shows a castle view with the main tower and the big multistorey balconies on the gable end. From there you have the best view over the beautiful landscape in the valley including the Alpsee (alp lake) and the Schwansee (swan lake). Just below the balconies on the lower right you can see a small door seemingly leading into empty space! That's because a terrace garden was planned at this place that was never finished... If you had the LEGO model this could be another story though :-)
King Ludwig II Comic (No. 3)
Today's comic shows the beginning of the building work and which color the gate house of the castle nearly got...

New Model Photo
Today's picture presents a look at the completed model from a different point of view. This shows the highest walls of the castle and the main towers in full view. All visitors come from this side because the winded road through the gate runs here!
New Ludwig comic is in preparation :-)
King Ludwig II Comic (No. 2)

Short King Ludwig II Comic
I don't want to withhold this little comic I made to advertise the project :-)
It gets scaled down pretty small here but you can see a bigger version if you want: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6079922
Have fun!
