The Arts and Quilt Building Modular

The Arts and Quilts shop Moved into the lower level of the building and now the whole building resembles and art piece of its own full of patterns and colors. 

At street level is the Arts and quilts shop where anyone can purchase art supplies, fabric, and quilting materials. The shop also holds quilting classes and invites all who enter to do a little hand quilting on their large quilting frame. Next to the shop is a small courtyard where art is displayed and there is a staircase that leads up to the apartment above. 

The second level of the building is the first part of the apartment. There is a little kitchen, dining table, and cozy sitting area. It’s a cozy place to have friends over. 

The third level of the building is the rest of the apartment. It had the bedroom, a full bath, a small sewing nook, and a balcony.

I originally designed most of this for the jigsaw puzzle contest and reworked it to fit into a modular style building on a 32x32 base plate. I enjoy making art in lots of forms and quilts hold a special place in my heart.
