Do you like Lego? Do you like nature and the National Parks? Well, then you will probably like Lego National Parks!

                                                                   National Park History

The National Park Service was founded in 1916 and will be celebrating its 100th birthday on August 25, 2016. Although the National Park Service was created by an Act of Congress and signed by President Woodrow Wilson, Yellowstone N.P. was first founded in 1872 and was the nation's first National Park. Our National Parks include national parks, monuments, battlefields, military parks, historical parks, historic sites, lakeshores, recreation areas, scenic rivers and trails, and the White House. The National Parks range from the first National Park (Yellowstone) through the latest National Park (Great Sand Dunes). They also range from Denali in Alaska to Hawai'i Volcanoes in Hawai'i to Joshua tree in California to Everglades in Florida to Isle Royale in Michigan and to Acadia in Maine.

I have created just a handful of these beautiful National Parks with Legos. I hope to have more parks through updates and will be happy to hear what National Parks are liked most. I hope you like them and please spread the word! Thank you for your votes!

                                                                  This collection includes.......

                                                                     Arches National Park

This park has more than 2000 arches made out of natural sandstone. It is one of Utah's many National Parks. My set includes an arch made in three different colors, desert flowers and the park ranger and visitor.

                                                             Mammoth Cave National Park

The Mammoth Cave is the world's longest cave system with more that 400 miles of explored caves. It is also home to eight different bat species. My set includes a park ranger and visitor walking the trails in the cave. They also stop along the cave to see the bats.

                                                                 Redwood National Park

Although California has 9 National Parks, Redwood National Park is probably one of the most well known. It is home to the Redwood trees which are known to grow over 350 feet. My set includes a park ranger and visitor hiking threw the woods. They stopped to admire a young redwood and the wildflowers.

                                                           Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park

Even though Hawaii only has two National Parks, those parks are filled with features other National Parks do not have. This park is known for its amazing volcanoes and has some of the most active in the world. My set includes a park ranger and visitor watching a small volcano erupt with lava. The visitor is also taking a picture.

                                                               Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is the first and probably the most well known National Park. It is home to hot springs, boiling mud pots, and the erupting geysers. Also home to Old Faithful (the most famous geyser), hundreds of waterfalls, and it own Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. My set includes a park ranger and visitor watching a geyser erupt. You can also see the different colored algae around the geyser.

Well that is all! Make sure to check updates for more Parks.

Again, thank you for the votes.
