Ranger Interstellar Film

Interstellar is a 2014 film directed by Christopher Nolan.

In the future, governments and economies across the globe have collapsed, food is scarce, NASA is no more, and the 20th Century is to blame. A mysterious rip in space-time opens and it's up to a group of explorers to explore and offer hope for mankind. Surpassing the limitations of human space travel and to conquer the vast distances involved in this attempt to save mankind from a dying earth.

The Ranger is a single-stage-to-orbit (SSTO) reconnaissance spacecraft built and used by NASA. Two Rangers were part of the Endurance mission, named Ranger 1 and Ranger 2. Twelve additional Rangers were also built and launched for the Lazarus missions ten years prior.

This is my first design, so I'm very excited. This Ranger. This ranger is a set of 2936 pieces with great detail:

  • Cabin with four folding seats, just like what can be seen in the film, and a large amount of instruments.
  • Two different rooms. The cabin and the depressurization area, both separated by a folding door.
  • Sliding exit door as seen in the film.
  • Removable cabin roof, to access the interior.
  • Three folding legs

I have tried to be as faithful as possible to the film, for which I have spent a lot of time reviewing the design, and carefully re-watching this Christopher Nolan film. I hope that his countless fans see this work reflected in the final result, and that it evokes great memories of the film. And for those who are not fans, may it create the intrigue of watching the film.

Please support me, to help it become a real official LEGO set.
