Wind Turbine

This is a video I recorded of the wind turbine spinning.  Please note that what you see in the video is different from the main idea.  I built this model first but upgraded the style on LDD in order to submit it as a project.  Therefore, my proposal for a set is what is on the main page only.  Because I own the original model, I decided to add a video of it spinning.  This version functions exactly the same way as the proposed idea.

This update details the interior workings of the wind turbine.  Here is a rendered picture which clearly shows the mechanisms.  (I have removed a blade of the wind turbine as a better visual.)

Turning the turbine's grey handle makes the red gear move.  The red gear turns the black gear at the wind turbine's base.  When this gear spins, it causes the entire middle shaft to spin.  The rotation causes the small grey gear at the top to turn, which rotates the tan gear.  This gear is connected to the spinner, which holds the blades on with blue and black technic pins.
