Lego London Underground Train Set

Based on the 1973 Tube Stock that currently runs on the Piccadilly Line.
A lot of people from across the globe may be familiar with this train as this is the one that serves London Heathrow Airport and a host of tourist hot spots such as Buckingham Palace (Green Park), Harrods (Knightsbridge), Covent Garden and of course Leicester Square for the Lego Store.

This Lego version is made up of 3 cars and measures a total of 95cm in length.

One car contains the Power Function elements to make it move (2x M motors, battery box and sensor), although these could easily be replaced by Powered Up elements (2x motors and hub, sensor no longer required) to make it smart phone friendly.

The other 2 cars are unpowered and have plenty of room for all your mini figure travellers.

To give this set more playability there is an underground station platform to allow mini figures to get on and off the train.

This set has 4 mini figures: A Train Operator, a Customer Service Assistant, a Tourist with luggage in tow, and a Commuter in a rather dashing pin stripe suit.

I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at my London Underground train set and if you like it please consider supporting it.

Many Thanks for stopping by.
