Sesame Street: 50 YEARS and counting
Sesame Workshop has just unveiled the logo for 50th Anniversary celebrations next year. Check out the design below. Fingers crossed this set makes it in time for the festivities!
Sesame Street: Old School
Hi, folks!
I'm back again with another update! I was thinking about how Sesame Street and LEGO could consider branding this set, especially since it's mostly designed for adults. I think there are two great ways to do it...
First, Sesame Workshop could release it as part of it's 50th Anniversary line of products in 2019. It's an ideal way to celebrate the nostalgia for the show and for this set.
Another way to go about it is to release it under the Sesame Street: Old School brand. For those who are unfamiliar, Old School is marketed as a nostalgia set of products, aimed at teenagers and adults who remember the series from their childhood.
Blocks magazine
Hi, folks!
Who knew it would take so long to count to 10,000? :)
While we wait for more votes, I thought I'd take a moment and share one of my other LEGO Ideas projects that recently got featured in Blocks Magazine. My design features four great Muppet performers, including Jim Henson. Hope you'll check out all four of my Henson-inspired LEGO Ideas submissions.
Please continue supporting and sharing this project. Thanks, everyone! :)
Twiddlebugs Microfigures
Hi-ho folks!
I decided to add 2 additional pieces to my design for 123 Sesame Street -- Twiddlebugs! I figured... I already built their house. It might be a great idea to include some microfigures of these little guys. :)
The two microfigs are based on the characters of Thomas and Tessie Twiddlebug, both of whom debuted on Sesame Street back in 1973.
Hope you like the additions! :D
