Located in the south of Jordan, Petra a marvellous city clouded by the mystery of its past was once home to the ancient Nabatean civilization. Today it is one of the New Wonders of the World and has attracted millions of tourists from across the globe. The twisting turns of the rose coloured mountains of Al-Siq (a narrow gorge) lead to the most iconic structure in the “Rose City”: Al-Khazneh (the Treasury) which was masterfully carved into the side of a mountain more than 2000 years ago.
