First and foremost, congratulations to Savath_Bunny for reaching 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas, and toward everyone for all of the support of the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The Bus" LEGO Set project! The results of the LEGO Review are in and you can see full details on the LEGO Ideas Blog.

Review Results for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The Bus" LEGO Set
Our team has thoroughly considered the possibility of releasing this project as a LEGO set according to the criteria of the LEGO Review. Unfortunately the LEGO Review Board has decided that we will not produce this project as a set.

Thank you to Savath_Bunny for the passion and creativity that went into this project, and to all of you who voted so that we would have the opportunity to consider this as a potential LEGO set. We’re sorry to deliver this disappointing news.

How do we arrive at our decisions?
By gaining 10,000 supporters, a fan-submitted project moves from the Idea Stage to the Review Stage, where it earns the opportunity to be considered as a future LEGO® set in a process called the “LEGO Review.” Gaining 10,000 Supporters is just the first step in this process.

A "LEGO Review Board" composed of professional set designers, product managers, marketing representatives, and other key team members examine each qualified project. They build concept models and determine if the concept meets our high standards for what it takes to be a LEGO product; including factors such as playability, safety, and fit with the LEGO brand. Every potential LEGO product, including those developed internally, goes through a similar process and must meet the same standards.

The amount of time this takes varies due to all the factors involved. Unfortunately, this process sometimes means that well-conceived projects that gain just-as-passionate followings have to be turned down. Please note that the LEGO Review Board makes all final decisions on which new sets the LEGO Group will release based on LEGO Ideas projects.

Congratulations on 10,000 supporters, Savath_Bunny!

Dear Savath_Bunny,

Well that was a close call! With just days left on the clock your Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The Bus" LEGO Set project flew into the review stage. Your project brings a unique and fun modular approach to LEGO planes that opens up your model to plenty of opportunities to play. It's great to see Lola included in order to play through the entire Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D story. Congratulations again!

We are delighted to now officially advance this project to the Review phase.

What happens now?

This project moves from the Idea stage to the Review stage. A "LEGO Review Board" composed of designers, product managers, and other key team members will examine the idea. We'll build concept models and determine if the concept meets our high standards for what it takes to be a LEGO product. This includes factors such as playability, safety, and fit with the LEGO brand. Every potential LEGO product goes through a process like this and must meet the same standards.

The LEGO Review Begins in January

This project qualifies for the Third 2016 Review, which includes projects that reach 10,000 supporters between early September 2016 and early January 2017. For more information about the LEGO review process, please see the Project Guidelines and House Rules.

The review is a thorough process and from its start it can take several months. When finished, we make a "go/no go" decision to develop and sell a product based on the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The Bus" LEGO Set.

When the review is complete, we will inform you of our decision. If green-lit, this project goes into the longest phase of the project; the Development phase. During this time, LEGO model designers refine the product and develop it for release, we create the product materials (box, instructions, marketing), and get everything ready for a production run. This also takes several months.

We will post follow-up information and our decision here.

Congratulations on 5,000 supporters! You've earned an extra 182 days.

Wow! By passing 5,000 supporters, you've made it into the upper ranks on LEGO Ideas. Since you've passed the halfway point, here's another 6 months (182 days) to reach the final milestone of 10,000 supporters. Best of luck as you aim to finish your journey strong.

Congratulations! Your project's deadline has been extended.

On April 15, we announced in a blog post that LEGO Ideas is extending the time limit for projects to reach 10,000 supporters. Because your project originally reached at least 1,000 supporters within its first year (365 days), we've automatically added 182 days to your countdown clock, from the date your project was originally posted. If your project has over 5,000 supporters at the time of this comment, you've earned an additional extension of 182 days! Note: since these extra days are based on your project's original post date (and not today's date), you may see less than the maximum possible days reflected on your countdown clock.

For more information, see the time limit section of the Project Guidelines and House Rules. We hope you enjoy the extra time to reach 10,000 supporters, and best of luck on your project's continued journey.

Congratulations on 1,000+ Supporters!

This project shows than when it comes to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, a "bus" is so much more than just a bus! But when you're in a world of superheroes and super villains, you need all the right gadgets (and a flying car), to keep the world safe.

Good luck as you protect us citizens and fly your way to 10,000 supporters!
