Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The Bus" LEGO Set

With the up and coming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. kicking off its second season, I think it’s time that the S.H.I.E.L.D. franchise gets launched into the LEGO Marvel Universe.  With extraordinary sets like Spider-man, Thor and Wolverine hitting the market as traditional superheroes, why not send a message to children that, “Not all heroes are super, some are just awesome.”

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Bus” LEGO Set would allow buyers to create their own inspired missions for the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. By featuring the fully functional flying command center for our agents, Agent Coulson’s team can track down any Hydra scum wherever they may be hiding. In addition to the stealthy Bus, this set also includes Agent Coulson’s favorite collectable: Lola, the flying red corvette!

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Globemaster formally known as the CXD 23 Airborne Mobile Command Station (aka “The Bus”) is divided into five separate building platforms that when linked together create the plane.

The Loading Dock

The dock is where Skye comes to learn weapons training and defense with Agent Ward; since SHIELD agents must be prepared to confront Hydra when they least suspecting it. In addition to cargo, the bay area houses the mechanics of the plane and also keeps storage of the team’s cutting-edge weaponry. The loading dock also has a cozy spot for Coulson’s 1962 corvette – but don’t forget his number one rule, “Don’t touch Lola.”

The Science Lab / Medical Pod

FitzSimmons’ playground is packed full of all the latest high-tech toys and equipment for getting to the bottom of any case. Examine “0-8-4” items in the science lab, such as Loki’s scepter or the supernatural properties of the blue alien elixir. Just beside the lab is the Medical Pod where any SHIELD agents can bandage up any injury in a jiffy.

The Cockpit

This is where Agent Melinda May can take our heroes wherever they need to go. There is also a “top secret” telephone for communicating with Sgt. Nick Fury if any situations get sticky.

The Lounge

This luxurious space is the spot where SHIELD agents can kick up their feel and enjoy a tasty beverage while discussing what their next adventure will be.

Command Center / Coulson’s Office / Holding Cell

This stretch of rooms is where SHIELD business really goes down. First up is the Commend Center where agents can communicate with allies to track down the latest Hydra hot spots. The next room over is Agent Coulson’s private office where he keeps his SHIELD case files and nifty collectables. The final room is the holding cell where enemies of SHIELD are kept for questioning (and a hidden latch door for “removing unwanted guests”).

Included 10 Minifigures:

  • Agent Phil Coulson
  • Agent Melinda May
  • Agent Grant Ward
  • Leo Fitz
  • Jemma Simmons
  • Agent Skye
  • Agent Victoria Hand
  • Agent Antoine Triplett
  • Agent John Garrett
  • Deathlok

Other fun items in the set would include:

  • Captain America trading card
  • Coulson’s “Phase Two” gun from the Avenger’s film
  • Ftiz’s seven D.W.A.R.F. s (Drones Wirelessly Automated to Retrieve Forensics)
  • Loki’s scepter with a potential Mind Infinity Stone (still working on that theory)
  • The mysterious “blue alien elixir”
