In depth look at makeing the model: Spring board character
In official LEGO sets and themes it is common practice to start with a spring board build that inspires a complete set or theme, for this project I used a similar approach after siting on the idea of a hotdog mascot for around 6 years and changing it until it became a full set. The first of them was a simple and blocky build that had almost no freedom of motion.
The next few years saw a lot of changes to the character until I came up with a new version with much more freedom of motion and a much more accurate and natural look.
I will let you decide which one has better "Taste" and who is the better of these two! :)
