Chicago Red Hots

This is my take on the classic Chicago hot dog. This Chicago style hotdog has mustard, bright green relish, sliced tomatoes, diced onions, and a sports pepper on a poppy seed bun. The actual style hotdog also includes a pickle spear and celery salt which I did not include on this set. The sports pepper is only placeable, it doesn´t attach to the other lego pieces.

Well I live about an hour northwest of Chicago so I have had many Chicago styled hot dogs. I like how unique they are, especially because they don't have normal ketchup on them. Also, my other lego hotdog build is nearing it's first milestone so I thought I would try another version of it. Some of my favorite hot dog places that inspired me to make this set are Gene and Judes, Mr. Beefy's, and Tommy Red Hots.

Just like I said for my other Hotdog set, I think this set is unique being a food based set. It's great for sitting in your kitchen as a decoration, or to just have sit in your room to be inspired. I think spreading the idea of cultural foods would be very cool, and I think it would be a very great lego set for that reason.
