Hover engines
I am continuing on my Batwing upgrades, and here is the newest feature, the hover engines.
These redesigned engines feature 90 degree downward rotation and a locking piece to hold in place.
here is a look at the new engines:
i will continue to update the idea, please support, share, and remember to have fun
Batman
You can't have a Batwing without Batman, so here he is:
I attempted to create a new design while incorporating design elements from previous Lego Batman designs.
I started with a blank Batman design, then added designs in paint.
This is an early representation, i plan to add more details to the design.
Thanks for viewing this update, please support the idea, share with others, and have fun building.
Complete Batwing
I have been adding a lot of updates to the idea over the past few days, i want to continually upgrade the design to make it better. This update is just a look at the complete Batwing on display
The Batwing now has a ramp that also covers the batcycle, giving a smooth seal to the underside.
Adding the stand and reworking the interior of the Batwing has changed the piece count, it is now 1637 pieces.
The ramp can be opened while the Batwing is on the display stand
I hope everyone likes my idea, please support, share with others, and have fun
Batwing cycle eject
I have been working on a new feature to the idea, the Batcycle ejection system. This new feature is incorporated into the cockpit section of the Batwing. Attached with a magnet and easily removable, the Batcycle acts as the internal controls of the Batwing, To access the Batcycle open the bottom panels, the cycle can then be removed. I also plan to add a Batman mini-figure to the idea, having the Batwing without Batman would just not be the same
Here is a look at the Batcycle outside of the Batwing:
(Disregard the look of Batman in this image, that is a basic representation, not my final Batman design. All images rendered in Bluerender)
I wanted to give the Batwing more play options, and the Batcycle adds a lot of fun to the overall design
Here is the underside with the Batcycle inside:
I hope everyone likes the update to my idea

Display stand
I was working hard on completing the display stand for the Batwing, it took a while to get the structure to be able to support the weight of the Batwing. I finally finished and i am very happy with the outcome.
Here is a look at the display stand:
I wanted to make sure the stand would offer different angle poses, there is a gear turn-table which can be turned using the side lever. There is also a forward tilt, it can be altered to tilt backwards as well.
Here is how it will look with the Batwing on display:
This shows how it will look tilted forward.
I hope you enjoyed my update, please support this idea, spread the word, and keep having fun.
Corrections
i wanted to correct some of the information I posted about my idea
- The actual piece count for the Batwing is 1300, not 1400
- The wings do not fold 90 degrees, in order to stabilize the wings they can only rotate about 10 degrees down (due to wing weight they would collapse)
I plan to add a display/flight stand to the idea, It will support the entire weight of the Batwing and be adjustable to create cool flight displays
I am also going to add more weapons to the Batwing, this will include smoke canisters, dual cannons, and assorted gadgets.
I will add these in an update soon
Thanks everyone, please support, share, and have fun
