Jumbo Jet Cross-Section Cutaway Model

It is a cross-section / cutaway model of the Boeing 747 jumbo jet.

I am a big fan of aviation and a big fan of Lego, and I wanted to combine the two hobbies, curve shapes are always hard to achieve in Lego and I wanted to challenge my Lego building skills. I wanted to develop a cross-section/cutaway model series of models showing great details and make a good educational display.

I think this will make a great Lego set, as an aviation fanatic I would definitely buy it. It makes a great display, the cross-section/cutaway model is big enough scale to show great detail and small enough for display on a bookshelf, unlike a full model with such detail would be too big and takes too much room to display, and would be too expensive to buy. We can add mini figures such as pilots, flight attendants, passengers and luggage handlers to the model and make it a great play for all ages.
