9.000 THANKS! #14 UPDATE

To play, or to display, that is the question!

With a lot of details outside and a fully detailed interior, the A-FrAme Cabin is a very playable set, and funny to build for sure.
But you can also display it to show your friends proudly.
It's up to you what to do! And why not play and show it at the same time?

8.000 THANKS! #13 UPDATE...WE NEED YOUR HELP!

A-FrAme Cabin is UNDER ATTACK! Support it before it's too late!

Something terrible is happening, some giant spiders are attacking the A-Frame Cabin, and they are very angry! We have only one chance to save it: support the project and get 10,000 votes!

Riddle me this: Do you know which set that spider on the roof comes from?
If so, let me know in the comments!

Rural houses

Did you know that my A-FrAme Cabin is part of a series of rural houses I built in the past two years?
In the photos you can spot some of my bizarre houses, framed and hung on the wall as if they were landscape paintings.
The first one I built was Sheriff Hopper's cabin, from Stranger Things TV series, and the last one the Blue Cottage (both not pictured). Who knows what will be next?

Hey ... what is that spider doing there?

Riddle me this: Do you know which set that scary spider comes from?
If so, let me know in the comments!

6.000 THANKS! #11 UPDATE INTERIORS

A-FrAme Cabin fully detailed interiors are out now!

As I said in update #10 the past week-end I've worked hard to build the interiors of the A-Frame and they are ready now.
The A-Frame cabin features a complete interiors with two floors: the upper one with the bedroom; and the ground floor with the living room and kitchen. The whole interior is chock full of details that make the set very playable.
You can easily open the two roofs to access inside and play with the utensils and surprising accessories including table and chairs, a wood stove and many more.
Thanks to the wooden furniture you can breathe a warm and welcoming atmosphere, typical of mountain cottages: nice coziness inside while it's cold outside.
And it's so enjoyable!

A-FrAme Cabin interiors are on their way...

In the past few days I've worked hard to build the interiors of the A-Frame Cabin and they are now complete. I just need to take some nice pictures and I think I'll post them for the next update, stay tuned!
To build the interiors, and the cabin as well, I took inspiration from a couple of books about weird cabins and cottages.

A-FrAme Special Edition: Snowy A-Cabin

To celebrate the incredible milestone of 5.000 supporters, I show you the Snowy A-FrAme!
I built and presented it in December of 2020 as a seasonal version of the A-frAme. The snowy one is very similar to the autumn version, it only has a lot of snow and the facade has been repainted red. Hey ... it's Christmas time :)

Riddle me this No.1: Do you know which set the beautiful reindeer was part of?
Riddle me this No.2: Do you know which series the white owl (on the skylight) was part of? And...in how many sets was it present?
If so, let me know in the comments!

60 - 60 - 60

There are many possibilities to build the roof of an A-FrAme Cabin, I chose an equilateral triangle shape, and it looks good to me. But I also like those with much more sloping roofs ... curious? Search on Google for A-Frame cabin, or house, and you'll find dozens of beautiful and welcoming houses.

Riddle me this: can you guess which piece is on top of the chimney?
If so, let me know in the comments!

A wonderful shelter as inspiration for my A-Frame Cabin

This beautiful and cozy cottage in the picture is what made me fall in love with these weird and magical houses. This wooden cabin is surrounded by the green mountains and it instills peace and serenity, what all we need in this period. And it seems to me that the two cabins are alike. Don't you think so too?

Dan and Ethan: brothers and main characters of the A-frAme Cabin set

Two brothers, Dan and Ethan, burned out on modern working believed that stripping away modern comforts and living more simply in nature would lead to a more spiritually a creatively fulfilling life. They looked for a cabin in the woods and finally found out this old wooden A-Frame Cabin. They fixed up it, and now they live there happily.
Probably some guests will join the two brothers someday...

Riddle me this: can you tell which Minifigure the torso of the character on the left is part of?
If so, let me know in the comments!

Building stage No.3: adding the roof

We are at the last stages of the building process: today we add the typical A-shaped roof.
Stay tuned, in the next updates you'll check out all the building stages till the photo shooting.

Riddle me this: can you spot that black bird on the skylight? Do you know which Minifigure it was paired with?
If so, let me know in the comments!
