How this project started:
For a while, I've been wanting to build a LEGO train set that looks really realistic. However, whenever I sat down and tried doing exactly this, I had no idea what to do soon after ten minutes. But recently, three days ago, I finally had the satisfying breakthrough I wanted. Finally! The project began to come together. Building the F7 locomotive that pulls The Streamlined Express, I felt like I could really complete this project. I did complete this project after the course of four days, and here is the result.
Project information:
This project is 2,308 pieces. The locomotive has two roof sections that can be removed to reveal the interior. Inside the cab is a small, but realistic F7 cab interior. The engine room, unlike a real F7 unit, is very roomy. In it is an engine which can be partly removed. There are also two brick-built doors which give more access for the minifigures.
Then there's the diner. Inside the diner, there are three sets of tables with three chairs, a table with one chair, and a small snack bar where passengers can get coffee. Also, there are two doors straight across from each other at the width of the wagon, and a door at each end of the diner.
At the end is the coach. All that's inside are six pairs of seats next to each other. Like with the diner, there are two doors straight across from each other at the width of the wagon, and a door at each end of the coach.
Conclusion:
Thanks for viewing and supporting this project, everyone! It was a lot of fun to build, and it provided a good challenge for me. If you want to tell me what you think of this project, please tell me in the comments section. Have a good day, everyone! Project built by Joseph cheeseinthepie. 9/5/2018
