Darth Vader's TIE Fighter

This is my attempt at an updated version of “Darth Vader's TIE Fighter” set (8017), drawing inspiration from the previous model blended with elements from 2012’s “TIE Fighter” set (9492). The main aspect that I felt needed addressing was the wings, in order to make them consistent with the new "TIE Fighter" design. I also mixed elements from both cockpit designs, as in the films the cockpits of the various TIE classes appear to be a standardised model.

Update, As you can see I have managed to build my design, during the process I identified a weakness in the wings, causing me to change the design slightly. The funny thing is the redesign actually looks better to me then my original idea.

And I'd like to thank Cuusoo member Vean for the excellent renders of my design I used prior to me completing the actual model.
