I present my set “Mountain view”
In 601 pieces stacked in layers and rotated 90 degrees to the forest part, I show a beautiful view of a mountain range in a frame, the sun casts light and shadow on the mountain slopes and they shine in different shades.
The cloudless sky allows a perfect view of the snow-covered peaks and the lower overgrown heights.
Sit on the bench in the pine forest and enjoy the fresh, clear air of the mountain view.
Why did I build it?
Well to be honest I have a view like this as a background on my smartphone, I was scrolling through the internet looking for new ideas for Lego Ideas when I looked at my home screen and thought “why not” - I had to modify it a lot to make it work and the result is a beautiful set that stands stable or can be hung up without much effort.
How is it built:
When designing I had a problem, I started with the mountains, stacked them in layers and when I was happy with that I had to think about how to turn it 90 degrees to implement the forest part, I used 2x2 brackets whose studs only go to one side, a part I already know from my Judend, the set stands stable on these brackets and can also be hung on the wall as a picture with minimal effort.
Why would it be a good Lego set?
It's simple and beautiful, I think it's a great model to display on a shelf, the building technique is something different than usual.
I hope you like it.
