Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
WOOO! 200 supporters!
Thanks to you all, we've gotten to 200 supporters on this project! HOORAY! Also, shoutout to LEGO® Ideas user kirteem, who is the 200th person to SMASH that support button. He's a very talented builder, and has detailed projects over in his profile. Make sure to ceck out his MOCs when you have the chance! Have a great day, everyone, and have a Happy Thanksgiving. Question: Should I include track? (+hiatus notice)
Hypothetically, if this project became a set as-is in its current 4-stud-width gauge build, do you think I should include some track to roll this on? I want this project not only to act both as a nice display model and a fun toy. Adding four curved track pieces, eight short straight track pieces, and the tiles and plates to connect them would increase the set's cost by $11.
ALSO, I'll be going on yet another hiatus, which starts on September 28th, and will go on for 28 days. I will return on October 26th. If you are able to, please give me feedback about the track idea! Have a great day, everyone, and take care. Regards, Joseph cheeseinthepie. 9/26/2020
Comparison images to thank my 100+ supporters. 😁
Thank you all so much for your support and kind feedback! I know I say this a lot, but it truly means a lot to me that you liked this project so much that you supported it. 😊
Originally, the latter part of this update was to be its own separate update. However, now that 've reached over 100 supporters, I believe that now would be the best time to unveil them! 🚂🚃🚃
The coupling on this train is positioned to properly connect to the 30543 Holiday Train polybag. First, here's a comparison between the three-car Holiday Train and the miniature UP SD70ACe by itself:
Let me remind you that the SD70ACe, including the couplers' lengths, is about 28.5 studs long! That's just slightly longer than the longest LEGO train chassis, which is 28 studs in length. Wow!
Now, here's the SD70ACe and the Holiday Train next to each other again, but the camera is angeled differently:
Lastly, this is a rather silly image...instead of explaining it, I'll just show you 😆:
Once again, thank you all so much for your support! Have a great day and take care. (This update was posted by Joseph cheeseinthepie on September 1st, 2020.)
53 supporters in one day?? YAY!
Thank you all so much for supporting this project! I hoped that people would like it, but I didn't expect as much as I've received. Take care, everyone, and once again, THANK YOU! Update by Joseph cheeseinthepie, August 27th, 2020.
