We're now 9000 + Final adjustments before the end.

Hey all.

First of all, thank you so, so much for over 9000 supporters! This means we have now entered the final stretch to gain 10,000 supporters. It's pretty crazy to think we've come this far in just below 5 months. To ensure the stability, balance, looks, and the building experience of the model, I have decided to do some adjustments to the build before we (hopefully!) reach 10K. Let's get over them, shall we?

First things first, these first changes are more of cosmetic changes.

I have decided to make the top cover of the console fully symmetric:

This will ensure that the console would look more consistent with the build.

The Finnish translation on the warning label has been slightly updated:
(After submitting new thumbnails, I noticed the German translation has one extra dot. Whoops!)

Some of the plates used in the back of the console have been replaced with bricks to ensure a better building experience. A 3x1 plate used in the top of the console frame has been replaced with a 1x2 plate.

The bottom of the cover used above the heatsink and the GD-13 board has been reworked to make the cover a bit more robust. Speaking of the cover, the inside now has more studs. This was done to keep the cover more in place.

One of the chips used in a corner of the GD-13 board has been replaced with a capacitor. (I do believe it is a capacitor.) This is done to give the GD-13 board a bit better balance, as the capacitor is able to touch the top of the heatsink, while a microchip wasn't. Some of the capacitors were also rotated to make the build more accurate to the real console. All capacitors on the board were also raised by 1 plate.

Now for some last-minute updates: The Memory Card covers have also gained a bit of an update. They now use a 1x2-1x4 bracket with 2 1x1 tiles on either side to ensure that the 2 railing pieces won't detach along with the covers, at least so easily. The 2 topmost 2x4 tiles on the Memory Cards have been replaced with 4x4 tiles to ensure the Memory Cards won't potentially fall apart while they are in their slots.

The plug on the controller has been given a 4x4 tile as well.

Phew! Hopefully those were all of the updates I did. Due to these new updates, I have also decided to update the thumbnails as well. They should be visible next week.

This update reduces the piece count to 2111.

Keep sharing the project! We're almost there!

We are now halfway there!

Hello everyone,

Thank you for 5000 supporters in just 2 months, which is quite frankly, pretty insane. This means we have just under 2 years to reach 10000.

Now, I really haven't had much time on my hands to respond to the comments, as I want to commit myself to my studies. But I'm sure I'll be able to respond to all comments in the next few days.

Keep sharing the project! We can do this!
