Portal 2, the acclaimed puzzle-platform video game released by Valve in 2011 (and Portal 1 released in 2007), was not only a masterpiece of playability, but it also had an amazing writing and character design.

I made this display piece to represent some of the most iconic designs and my favorite plot-twist/moment from Portal 2 (Chell, the main character and Wheatley fighting the supercomputer GLaDOS).

My build is a circular base with a black frame with a large structure (reinforced with a Technic frame) from where GLaDOS is hanging. I've attached other small Technic frames to the structure to add the different Aperture Science Panels used in the game as a surface to create the Portals. I built the iconic orange and blue portals to two of these panels. In the orange one you can see a Chell minifigure and in the blue one 1X1 plates and tiles representing the legs of Chell, to show her traveling through the portals.

In the base, you can find Wheatley in the docking station ready to beat GLaDOS and a pillar with a red button in front of him.

For the GLaDOS model, I used some of the new curved and circle slopes designs released in the last few years. This model is bigger than it should be to be in minifigure scale, but it's close enough and I think it looks great with these bricks.

As an easter egg, I also made a small base with a turret, the companion cube and the cake, as a reference to Portal 1. It can be displayed apart or attached to the back of the structure.

Thank you for taking a look at my model, I hope you liked it as much as I enjoyed building it!
