9 days left

Hello everyone!

9 days left on the clock and 497 supports missing. We will probably loose this run, but there is still a small chance to reach the 5000 supports milestone. With your help everything is possible! To all who want this set and want to help: PLEASE SHARE IT EVERYWHERE NOW! I want to thank everyone who supported and shared so far, it has been a great journey. Since TLG has released new project standards, both versions of the Medieval Pharmacy fulfill the standard of size respectively part count. And hey - there is no I.P. Check the update section to explore all the improvements. Thank you!

Love,

Medieval Apothecary - Essential Update!

Hello everyone!

First I want to thank everyone who has supported, shared and followed this project. We just passed the 4000 supporters mark, that`s really amazing! If this project reaches 5000 supports it will get a time extension of 182 days. If it gets that far, everything is possible!

A lot of feedback and suggestions have been given over the last year. With this update I tried to realize most of your suggested improvements:

  • name change
  • reduced part count
  • easier access
  • smoother roof slope
  • more furniture and fixtures

The Medieval Apothecary now contains 2347 parts instead of 2722. I think the outside look of the building is now more consolidated and creates a cozy flair.

I decided to reduce width (2 studs) and length (4 studs) of the building. The size of the oriel is identical to ensure accessibility.

The main roof is one brick-row lower. As a result of that a smoother roof slope is possible. I also changed the half-timbered structure, please compare with the first version arranged behind. I chose a lighter green baseplate to get a fresher look and better contrasts. There are some metallic parts and vegetation added too.

The Apothecary opens exactly in the middle of the main roof, therefore it allows an easier access to the oriel than before.

Improvements of the entrance area: additional footstool, side table with teapot, shelf decoration, floor tile patterns, different wall decorations.

The main change in the salesroom is related to the top of the staircase and handrail. I also added balance weights for the scale and different potions and pots. The floor tile patterns continue up to the staircase.

Additions of the greenhouse: flower press, side table, color change of the floor.

The compounding area contains now: mortar and pestle, work table, a map of a secret gathering place, a basket, a bucket, tool and a messy shelf.

I hope you like this new version of the Medieval Apothecary as much as I do. Please let me know what you think. If you would like to see a set like this in stores, please help spreading the word. Together we can make it real! Time flies!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

2500 Supports + Improvement

Medieval Pharmacy already covered 25% of the total distance. Amazing!

Thank you so much for your great support, this means a lot to me! Now let´s aim the next milestone. Well, it´s quite far away right now, but with your help it´s possible!

As it happens I want to show you the latest improvement of the spiral stair´s stairhead. In the first version a quite big gap formed between the top stair and the second floor. As shown in the comparison below, the gap is now covered.

Medieval Village

With the help of the Staff Pick and placement in the Popular this Week section, Medieval Pharmacy has reached 2000+ supports! It´s really overwhelming, I´m very grateful for all your kind comments and support! We have travelled 20% of the journey, I hope we can go much further. It makes me really happy that so many of you like my interpretation of the classic castle theme. There will come more in the future! For now I want to show you all my published medieval projects so far, side by side. Please enjoy!
