Cherry Blossom Bonsai

Description

This project is a lovely classical cherry tree bonsai, nicely detailed and very realistic. Bonsai is an ancient Chinese/Japanese art of growing a miniture version of a tree. This tree can be any tree, but I have chosen to make (or is it grow?!) a miniature cherry tree. The tree has a lovely curve in it and the pot and soil is nicely detailed.

Pieces

This set has roughly 300 pieces, which is nice size set. So this means it is probably going to cost in the $10-49 margin.

Aim

The aim of this project was to make a bonsai display item that looks realistic and like a bonsai. Being purposed as a display item, I think mainly adults would like this. This model is a reasonably hard build but not to hard so I'd say it is in the medium catagory. This model is a great gift for LEGO lovers, tree lovers and bonsai lovers but also has great peices.
